Hi! I’m Wendy Malmkvist, owner of Well Made Fitness & Nutrition. I have been in the fitness industry for almost 20 years (since 2006), starting with teaching spin classes, where I discovered my passion for inspiring others to lead healthier lives.

Over many years of instructing various types of fitness classes, from high-energy spin to bootcamp sessions, I started working one-on-one with clients when I was coaching CrossFit in 2010. I enjoyed helping them see how strength training can improve the quality of their lives. As I delved deeper into health and wellness, I also earned certifications in yoga and nutrition.
In 2018, I moved from Calgary, AB to Lake Country, BC and began working at Predator Ridge Fitness Facility instructing fitness classes and personal training. I took on more classes through the District of Lake Country and hosted yoga in Kopje Park on Carr’s Landing road during the summer months since 2021.
In 2023 and 2024, I decided to nudge myself out of my comfort zone by competing in Physique competitions, ultimately leading me to win both years in the Masters Bikini category (+40 years). During my downtime, I enjoy all types of skiing (downhill, cross-country skiing, slalom water skiing), playing pickleball and tennis. I love the lake (all months of the year!) and spend a lot of time with my two teenage boys and husband, participating in whatever activities they enjoy doing too.
I am a NASM certified Personal Trainer, certified Yoga Instructor (200hr), TRX Instructor, certified Nutrition Coach (WAG), certified Older Adult Training Specialist, 2x WNBF Master Bikini Winner (2023/24), Former Level 2 Crossfit Coach (gymnastics, olympic lifting, endurance certified).
